Kaho (Aoyama Yasuna), who has been submitting her work to manga magazines since high school, moves to Tokyo after graduating from high school. After her manuscript is rejected by the editor, she begins training as a manga assistant, and gradually grows as she struggles with the rigors of the industry. One day, she meets Minami (Nishinoiri Ruka), a young man who also aspires to be a manga artist, and instantly falls in love with him.
