Bunga, Kejora, and Arian live on the banks of the Martapura river, Banjarmasin. They have ideals that are held hostage by the wishes and hopes of their parents. Arian, whose father was a kuriding artist, did not want his son to inherit his skills in playing kuriding. Kejora, who dreams of becoming a doctor, is opposed by his father, who is traumatized by a doctor who is thought to have killed his wife during childbirth.
