Her troubled marriage, Cengiz's infidelity, and threatening phone calls and letters received at home have pushed her to the brink of despair. Cengiz, who refuses to accept Çiğdem's request for a divorce, leaves for Ankara on business, and that night, the young woman is murdered. Commissioner Cemal, who is investigating the murder, suspects Cengiz.
