The family had the hen Ryaba and once she laid down an egg, but not a simple, but the golden one. Grandfather and grandmother were watching, and the egg has turned into a turnip. They began, as usual, to drag and pull it, but the spouses did not have cats or dogs. There was a mouse, however, but she did not show any particular desire to take part in the common work.
