She's the only woman Richard, our narrator, has ever loved, and after hearing an address from President François Mitterrand, Richard decides to tell their story. Comprised of soft excerpts from about 30 1970s X-rated films, this fiction traces the story of an enchanted interlude from the pill to the appearance of AIDS and reflects on the cultural changes of the era.
