A group of imitators will try to convince him that they are the real artists he is looking for. The film was conceived as a showcase for the successful radio group "La Cruzada del Buen Humor", the precursor to what would later become "Los Cinco Grandes del Buen Humor", alongside the Cuban vedette Blanquita Amaro.
