Like her ancestor, Cornelia must also steal. She is observed by the swindler Johannes van Gudry, who tries to blackmail her... In the meantime, Gudry has discovered a waitress who is the spitting image of Cornelia, who now resides as the mistress of the castle and whom he intends to marry. Of course, things turn out differently.
