Though, because of an incomplete higher education, he has to work as a taxi driver and he hardly makes both ends meet. Akzhol once meets his lecturer who offers him take exams on all years he had missed and resume studies. This offer becomes a true gift for Akzhol, although life always puts him in tough dilemma. Every choice he makes reflects on not only his own life, but lives of his young sisters to whom he is the father and the mother at once.
