He garnered critical acclaim early in his career with a standout performance on stage as Mortimer in “Arsenic & Old Lace”, earning an Arty Award for Lead Actor in a Comedy/Drama. Known for his ability to seamlessly transition between comedic and dramatic roles, Austin’s impressive body of work has expanded into writing and directing. He has crafted a number of short films and feature-length screenplays, proving his talent behind the camera as well as in front of it. When not acting, Austin is also a passionate musician, collaborating with his identical twin brother on their music project, “Trevor & Austin”. The duo has performed all over California and beyond, bringing their pop/rap duo to audiences across multiple states. With a diverse skill set and a passion for storytelling, Austin McCarthy continues to shine in every project he takes on.
