Marie-Gabrielle Ménard is a Canadian actress, contemporary dancer, choreographer, and journalist who transitioned into federal politics as a Member of Parliament for the Liberal Party of Canada. Before entering public office, Ménard established a multi-faceted career in the arts and media spanning over two decades. As an actress and dancer, she has appeared in acclaimed cinematic projects, including Pascal Plante's psychological thriller Red Rooms (Les Chambres rouges, 2023) and the animated feature I Like Girls (J'aime les filles, 2018). In addition to her film work, she spent over a decade as a professional choreographer and contemporary dance instructor, founding and directing the Montreal-based collective Mandala Sitù Danse. Beyond the arts, Ménard is a recognized voice in Canadian broadcasting. She spent nearly ten years as a culture reporter, news host, and radio commentator for CBC/Radio-Canada, and lent her expertise as a sports commentator for artistic swimming at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
