She stars in the films Hemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea (2023) and Freedom, Wisconsin (2023), and appears in the films Buy Roses for Me (2019), Perfect People (2017), and Refuge (2017). La Joie made guest appearances at Location Managers Guild Awards, St. John's International Women's Film Festival and her work screened at the 13th Oceanside International Film Festival.
