His younger brother, Felix Johansson, has previously played in Falkenbergs FF. On 11 June 2021, it was announced that he had ended his professional career due to a knee injury. Berg has been married to TV profile Carina Berg since 2018, and he changed his name in connection with the marriage. The couple has a son born in 2019 and a daughter born in 2021.
