Pedro Guimaraes

Acting

Pedro Guimaraes is an actor, playwright, director, and screenwriter trained at the University of Brasilia. He is part of the cast of Oceânico (2026), directed by Guilherme Coelho, which will premiere at the 2026 Rio Film Festival, and played Cauã in the Portuguese telenovela Terra Forte, produced by TVI and Prime Video (2025–2026). He received an honorable mention at the 3rd Curta Lab (2025) for the short film Curumim, currently in pre-production. His theatre credits include BICHO (2022), a playwriting project for NOve (Viseu, Portugal); the monologue Perigo de Asfixia (2021); and the play Curumim (2019–2022), presented in seasons at Teatro Funarte Plínio Marcos and Teatro Goiânia.
