This forces Shu Yawang to break up with Tang Xiaotian and leads to a tragic incident where Xia Mu accidentally injures Qu Weiran. To protect Xia Mu, Shu Yawang marries Qu Weiran, claiming to be pregnant, but after a miscarriage, she goes into hiding. Four years later, Shu Yawang returns and unexpectedly reunites with Xia Mu, Qu Weiran, and Tang Xiaotian, reigniting the complicated emotions among the four.
