Created by Martha Carrillo and Cristina García, with adaptation by Ximena Suárez, the telenovela stars Erika Buenfil, Karyme Lozano, Norma Herrera, Alexis Ayala, Jorge Salinas, and Pedro Armendáriz Jr. Due to its enormous popularity, the series was extended to 280 episodes.
